At the invitation of President Sadyr Zhaparov, the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, arrives in Kyrgyzstan on August 30 for a state visit.
During the talks, pressing issues concerning the further development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and China are discussed.
Following the visit, plans include the signing of a number of interstate, intergovernmental, and interdepartmental documents.
In addition, the Chinese president takes part in festive events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the independence of Kyrgyzstan, a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, and other events.
The upcoming state visit of the Chinese president serves as an important step in further strengthening Kyrgyz-Chinese relations, which are based on strong friendship, mutual trust, and support.
