The goals specified in the National Development Program of Kyrgyzstan until 2026 are half achieved, Cabinet Chairman Akylbek Zhaparov said at a meeting of the Board of the Presidential Executive Office.
According to him, the Cabinet of Ministers has started working out the development program until 2030.
The main goal is to achieve a GDP of $30 billion by that date.
"For this it is necessary to maintain annual nominal GDP growth at the level of 10-12%. According to the World Bank classification, Kyrgyzstan can confidently increase GDP per capita and join the ranks of upper-middle income countries by 2030. The development program will be worked out taking into account these indicators," the head of the Cabinet said.
