Migrants from Kyrgyzstan in 2017 transferred from Russia to their homeland $ 2.21 billion, according to the information on the website of the Central Bank of Russia.

These figures are 27% more than in 2016, and 5% more than in 2013.

Tajikistan and Uzbekistan did not break records recorded in 2013.

According to the Parliamentary newspaper, the volume of remittances of labor migrants from Russia has been declining since 2014 due to the crisis in the economy and the fall in the ruble exchange rate, which resulted in the depreciation of salaries.

According to data of the State Migration Service of Kyrgyzstan, about 640,000 Kyrgyz citizens in search of living in Russia.
