Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan sign documents on cooperation

Following the results of bilateral meetings of President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, a ceremony of signing a number of joint documents took place in Dushanbe.

The following agreements were reached and signed:

- Program of trade and economic cooperation between the Governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan;

- Agreement on cooperation between the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Agency for Combating Economic Crimes of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- Agreement between the Higher Attestation Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the field of certification of scientific and scientific and pedagogical personnel of the highest qualification;

- Agreement between the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the field of health;

- Program of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- Agreement on cooperation in the field of information between the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Committee on Television and Radio Broadcasting of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- Agreement between the governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan on the order of stay of citizens of the two countries;

- Plan of cooperation between Batken oblast of the Kyrgyz Republic and Sogd region of the Republic of Tajikistan on strengthening neighborly relations and friendship for 2017-2020.

Official events have been concluded today during the visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov to Tajikistan. Tomorrow negotiations with the Prime Minister and Speaker of the Parliament of Tajikistan will be held.
