Popular market place in Bishkek destroyed by fire


The fire in one of the largest markets of Bishkek, the Osh market is completely extinguished, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The MES said that on Jan.30 at 09:48 information was received about the outbreak of a retail outlet at the intersection of Kievskaya and Beyshenalieva streets in the mini-market Seitek located on the territory of the Osh market.

"At 6:29 p.m. the fire was completely extinguished. 12 firefighters worked on the spot. Previously, the area of the fire was 3.5 thousand square meters," the MES specified.
