Minister of Labour, Social Security, and Migration of Kyrgyzstan Ravshanbek Sabirov met with the Ambassador of Qatar to Kyrgyzstan Ali Jaber Muhammad Al-Gufran Al-Marri on August 12, 2025, according to the press service of the Ministry of Labour.
It is noted that the parties discussed the prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding collaboration in the social and labour spheres. Special attention was paid to the development of labour migration and the creation of new opportunities for Kyrgyz citizens to find employment abroad.
The Minister emphasised that Kyrgyzstan is interested in diversifying the directions of labour migration and strengthening partnerships with foreign countries, while strictly adhering to national legislation.
He also noted that the visit of the Qatari diplomat is an important step towards opening a new page in Kyrgyz-Qatari relations, which are based on mutual trust and aimed at improving the lives of citizens.
