Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov took part in the opening of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway Company in Bishkek, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
"We highly value this project. It will take the economic cooperation between China and the Central Asian countries to a qualitatively new level," Zhaparov stated.
The Chairman of the Cabinet added that the implementation of the project will contribute to the deepening of trade and economic cooperation in the entire region, especially Kyrgyzstan, China and Uzbekistan, and expressed confidence in the high-quality and timely completion of the work.
The opening ceremony of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway Company LLC was attended by Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Capital and Overseas Investment Zhang Jianhua, Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Mahkamov, General Director of China Railway International Zhou Xing and others.
