The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan reported a decrease in the inflation rate in the country, which began in 2023.
At the end of last year, annual inflation was 7.3%. Since the beginning of 2024, the downward trend has continued, and by June, the inflation rate had dropped to 4.5% in annual terms.
A decrease in inflation was also noted in the EAEU countries and the main trading partner countries of Kyrgyzstan, which had a positive impact on the economic situation in the republic.
