Zhaparov had telephone conversation with Lukashenko

On January 23, a telephone conversation took place between President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov and the head of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

During the conversation, the heads of state warmly congratulated each other on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.

The leaders agreed that over thirty years, friendly relations have developed between the countries, built on the basis of mutual respect and partnership. The whole complex of bilateral cooperation is progressively developing, including in the political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.

Sadyr Zhaparov noted that the bonds of friendship between the Kyrgyz and Belarusian peoples have been tested for centuries, and today there is significant potential for deepening and expanding bilateral cooperation.

The parties noted the importance of intensifying Kyrgyz-Belarusian cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, both within the framework of regional integration associations and international organizations.
