Deputy Minister of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan Mirlanbek Baigonchokov held a meeting with Head of the World Bank Country Office in Kyrgyzstan Hugh Riddell.
According to the ministry, during the meeting the parties discussed the progress of the implementation of the Strengthening Social Assistance and Labour Market Programmes project, questions of accelerating the execution of planned activities, as well as further directions of bilateral cooperation.
Special attention was paid to increasing the efficiency of the project implementation, developing mechanisms for the social protection of the population, improving employment policy, and expanding cooperation in the field of labour migration.
