Meder Abakirov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, received the copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Indonesia to Kyrgyzstan, Siti Ruhaini Zuhayatin, on December 1.
As reported by the ministry, during the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospective directions of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Indonesia.
The mutual desire for the further strengthening of political dialogue and the expansion of trade, economic, investment, educational, and tourism ties was emphasised.
The parties noted the importance of stepping up contacts between the foreign policy agencies of the two states, as well as developing mechanisms for regular political consultations.
