President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov pays the first official visit in the history of Kyrgyzstan-Egypt relations to the Arab Republic of Egypt on 4–5 November at the invitation of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The visit is the first official visit of the head of state of Kyrgyzstan to the African continent since independence. This was reported by Sagynbek Abdumutalip, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration.
"During the visit, high-level talks are planned between Sadyr Zhaparov and Abdel Fattah El Sisi on current issues of the bilateral agenda, and an exchange of views on the international and regional agenda will take place.
Within the framework of the official visit, the signing of a number of bilateral documents in the fields of economy, agriculture, investments, energy, healthcare, and other areas is envisaged, which will create the basis for the further development of Kyrgyzstan-Egypt relations," Sagynbek Abdumutalip noted.
