A meeting took place in Bishkek yesterday, 30 October, between the Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, Bakyt Sydykov, and the First Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Elnur Aliyev.
The department reported that they noted the active development of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan in both a multilateral format and bilateral cooperation during the meeting.
The parties discussed the further strengthening of trade and economic relations, with special attention paid to the active development of the Azerbaijan–Kyrgyz Development Fund activity.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further deepen bilateral cooperation, expand investment interaction, and implement joint projects aimed at the development of industry, trade, and other priority economic sectors.
They also confirmed the desire to intensify the Azerbaijan–Kyrgyz Development Fund's work to support entrepreneurial initiatives and strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
