Meta pay hundreds of millions of som in "Google tax" to Kyrgyzstan budget

Following the results of the first seven months of 2025, Meta Platforms (Ireland) transferred more than 234 million 59.9 thousand som of Value Added Tax (VAT) for the provision of electronic services to the budget of Kyrgyzstan. This makes it the largest taxpayer in this segment.
