President Sadyr Zhaparov, as part of his official visit to the People's Republic of China, addressed the 25th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, which was held in Tianjin.
In his address, the Head of State invited cultural and sports delegations from Shanghai Cooperation Organisation member states to participate in the World Nomad Games, which will be held in Kyrgyzstan in the autumn of 2026.
According to the organising committee, the World Nomad Games have already become a hallmark of Kyrgyzstan, combining tradition and modernity. In 2026, our country is once again ready to host guests from all over the world and organise this unique cultural and sporting event at a high level.
The World Nomad Games have been held since 2014 and are an international ethno-sports forum aimed at preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of nomadic peoples.
