The business community should provide the country with access to foreign markets, said on October 11, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet Minister of Economy and Finance Akylbek Japarov at the conference Public Dialogue: New Economic Policy held in Bishkek.
“We must think over a cluster management system, combine the interests of business and government. Give us markets both foreign and local, we will do the rest for you. We must capitalise agriculture, otherwise there will be no development. We have been building capitalism for 30 years and cannot understand that there is not only state property, but also private property. Everything produced by the business is consumed by 80%. Benefits will be created in the New Economic Policy for the wealthy and middle classes that create jobs. We will provide all the opportunities,” he said.
Japarov explained that at the moment there are 639 thousand recipients of benefits in the country, and this has a certain burden on the economy.
“Business and government must work together. Our revenue side is liberal, social-communist,” he added.
